The latest moves in the North American wealth management sector.

Argent Financial Group, a US-based wealth manager, appointed Charles Denison this week as senior portfolio manager.  

Denison, who will be based in Argent’s Fort Worth office, will be responsible for managing personal and institutional client portfolios, the firm said in statement. Denison will report directly to Alan Tarver, senior vice president and senior portfolio manager.  

Welcoming him to the firm, Tarver said: “He brings more than 13 years of experience – which has allowed him to cultivate deep industry knowledge. We look forward to Charles continuing to grow our client base within this market.” 

Prior to joining Argent, Denison most recently served as director of investments and corporate development at Virtuoso. He also previously served as the principal and chief investment officer at the Diesslin Group, the firm said.  

Denison added: “I am looking forward to applying my experience of managing investments and my passion for helping clients achieve their goals, in my new role as senior portfolio manager.”
