The latest senior moves in the North American wealth management sector.
Ameriprise
Financial advisor Cate Grinney (pictured) has joined the
independent channel of Ameriprise
Financial from Edward Jones in Faribault, Minnesota with $331
million in client assets.
Grinney’s team includes financial advisor Kailee Davis and support staff Beth Sammon and Bridgette Hallcock. The team, which operates under the name Cate Grinney & Kailee Davis Group, is supported by Ameriprise franchise field vice president Marcus Ranger.
Ameriprise said about 1,600 advisors have joined its ranks in the last five years. In total, it has a network of around 10,000 advisors.
Argent Trust Company
Argent
Trust Company, a subsidiary of Argent Financial Group, has
appointed Michael Lanese as senior portfolio manager.
Based in Argent’s Dallas office, he will be responsible for managing personal and institutional portfolios.
Lanese is joining Argent from Fluent Financial, where he served as portfolio manager. He received his bachelor of business administration in finance from Texas Christian University (TCU) and his MBA from Southern Methodist University (SMU). In addition, he holds the Series 7 (securities representative), 63 (state law license), 24 (principal) and 57 (securities trader) licenses with Private Client Services (PCS).
