Digital Digest: The Latest Tech News – Envestnet, Salesforce, Broadridge
The latest technology news in the wealth management sector from around the world.
Envestnet, the US-based wealth management systems business, has rolled out another series of enhancements to its offerings for advisors.
The changes include security search enhancements within mutual account creation and extending holding-level funding to ensure accurate reflection in the “Current Investments to Retain” and “Current Investments to Liquidate” proposal documents, the firm said in a statement earlier this week.
On the trading side, Envestnet has brought in generic orders for fixed-income securities where they can be fulfilled by entering external trade details. It is also offering simulated trades to give advisors a more comprehensive view into possible outcomes so that they can make smarter decisions.
It has also introduced a worksheet trading tool enhancement to allow for sector-based trading and rebalancing, in addition to style-based trading and rebalancing.
Other enhancements are on the client portal side, with changes to improve account navigation and the experience users have when accessing linked and closed accounts.
