Envestnet, the US-based wealth management systems business, has rolled out another series of enhancements to its offerings for advisors.

The changes include security search enhancements within mutual account creation and extending holding-level funding to ensure accurate reflection in the “Current Investments to Retain” and “Current Investments to Liquidate” proposal documents, the firm said in a statement earlier this week.

On the trading side, Envestnet has brought in generic orders for fixed-income securities where they can be fulfilled by entering external trade details. It is also offering simulated trades to give advisors a more comprehensive view into possible outcomes so that they can make smarter decisions.

It has also introduced a worksheet trading tool enhancement to allow for sector-based trading and rebalancing, in addition to style-based trading and rebalancing.

Other enhancements are on the client portal side, with changes to improve account navigation and the experience users have when accessing linked and closed accounts.

Broadridge, Salesforce
Broadbridge Financial Solutions, the New York-listed group, is collaborating with Salesforce to help wealth management firms scale their businesses and boost advisors’ productivity.

As a result of the pact, Broadridge's books and records data consolidation, securities lending and financial advisor marketing systems will be available to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud customers, Broadbridge said in a statement this week.

The collaboration enables Salesforce FSC customers in the wealth management space to streamline workflows and enhance advisor productivity. Three of Broadridge's solutions will be available to Salesforce FSC customers, including:

-- Books, records and CRM data consolidation to enable real-time, bi-directional data integration between the Broadridge and Salesforce platforms;
-- A securities-based lending application that enables advisors to offer SBL, understand book trends, target high propensity prospects, and originate and monitor SBL loans; and
-- Broadridge's AdvisorStream content marketing platform that streamlines digital marketing processes, enables advisors to see client engagement with AdvisorStream content, and allows advisors to share personalized communications with clients through their preferred channels.
