The latest senior moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management.

True North Advisory Group, Osaic
True North Advisory Group, based in Maple Grove, Minnesota, has brought in Matt Kourouma (main picture) as a financial advisor. 

Kourouma has a diverse background in financial services, with previous roles as a financial advisor at Edward Jones and as an accountant at CliftonLarsonAllen and Wipfli LLP, where he focused on alternative investments

Truth North, which is an affiliate of wealth management solution firm Osaic, has $3.3 billion in client assets under advisement.

True North operates under Financial Dimension Group, an Osaic office of supervisory jurisdiction (OSJ) led by 47-year industry veteran Gregg Anderson. The firm helps financial advisors build and grow businesses.

A former college basketball player at North Dakota State University, Kourouma remains active in the community as an assistant coach at Columbia Heights Senior High School.

DeVoe & Co
DeVoe & Co, a consulting and M&A advisory firm for registered investment advisors, has appointed Gordon Ross as president, in charge of day-to-day operations.

Ross’s remit includes scaling the firm’s business to meet client demand. He reports to the founder and CEO, David DeVoe. Ross, who has more than two years of industry experience, most recently was chief client officer at Dynasty Financial Partners.
