Private Client Resources Forges Another Partnership

This is another partnership deal for PCR.
Envestnet ] Tamarac, which provides technology and information to the wealth sector, has partnered with data aggregator Private Client Resources to boost its platform offerings, particularly those aimed at family offices and those offering alternative assets.
The partnership will slot together PCR’s capabilities into Tamarac’s platform.
Enhanced services for advisors include a statement of alternative investments, a dashboard providing a reconciliation of data feeds, and business intelligence updates.
Alternative assets such as private equity, private debt, hedge funds and infrastructure are typically more illiquid than listed stocks, for example, and obtaining timely and accurate valuations and risk measurements is more difficult. With reporting requirements intensifying for wealth managers - sometimes from the demands of complying with regulations - the need for improved data has become more pressing.
The partnership follows an agreement that PCR announced earlier last month with FundCount to offer a managed data solution within the FundCount platform. FundCount offers accounting, investment analysis and reporting software for a range of customers.
Family Wealth Report interviewed PCR's chief executive Robert Miller earlier this year about his firm's strategy and some of the issues confronting the sector.
