Atlantic Trust has changed the location of its Newport Beach, CA, office to make room for its expanding advisor force in the area.

Atlantic Trust, the US private wealth management division of CIBC, has moved its Newport Beach, CA, office into a new area to address rising demand for its services in Orange County and nearby areas.

“The primary purpose of our move is to provide additional space for our rapidly growing team,” said Andrew Lang, managing director and head of the Newport Beach office.

The new office is based at 520 Newport Center Drive.

Over the last 12 months, the Newport Beach branch has added three professionals to its team of wealth strategists and investment experts, boosting the number of professionals in that office to nine.

The new additions were: Patrick O'Day; senior relationship manager and senior vice president; Martin Ortiz; senior client service manager and senior associate; and Tommy Vu, client analyst and associate

Nationally, Atlantic Trust has made a total of 28 hires in the past year. It also launched a new office in West Palm Beach, FL, and relocated its headquarters from mid-town Atlanta to the city's Buckhead neighborhood as the firm also looks to expand its presence in the Southeast.
