A white paper published by Rockefeller Financial concludes that investors cannot ignore the ongoing trends of urbanization and wealth generation in Asia and the investment opportunities they create.

Rockefeller Financial has published a white paper entitled, “Investors’ Attraction to the Asian Consumer: The Significance of the Emerging Consumer in Asia and the Related Investment Opportunities.”

Written by Christopher Crosby, equity analyst covering international markets at Rockefeller Asset Management, the paper ’s premise is that rising wealth across Asia creates a significant set of investment opportunities for astute investors. Ultimately, the opportunity in Asia may well be one that may not come along for another generation, it maintains.

It highlights four industries that should benefit from the emerging Asian consumer and includes relevant examples of each. These industries include automobiles, air travel, gaming and luxury goods.

The white paper concludes that investors cannot ignore the ongoing trends of urbanization and wealth generation in Asia and the investment opportunities they create.
