SEI Wins Major Contract With Japanese Financial Services Group

SEI, the US-headquartered investment and consultancy firm, has been chosen by Japan’s ORIX Investment Corporation to provide a back and middle-office outsourcing package for the firm’s hedge-fund business.

Under the agreement, SEI will provide OIC with services including fund accounting and administration, trade processing and administration, investment accounting, investor reporting, risk and attribution, and collateral-management.

The firm will provide its services in a straight-through processing environment with an automatic reconciliation tool designed specifically for reconciling high transaction volumes with CTAs and brokerage firms.

ORIX is a financial services group based in Tokyo, providing products and services to retail and corporate clients. It operates in 27 countries and regions.
