EFG Gets Musical With London Orchestra Sponsorship

EFG Private Bank, Swiss-based EFG International’s business in the UK, announced it has become the principal partner of Southbank Sinfonia, the UK orchestra of young professionals and musical academy.
SbS gives over 90 performances each year. SbS has an annual gala concert, the EFG Private Bank Gala Concert, which will be held on 10 June, and will feature internationally acclaimed soloists Tasmin Little (violin) and Philip Dukes (viola) in Mendelssohn's "Violin Concerto", Mozart's "Sinfonia Concertante" and Geoffrey Burgon's Viola Concerto "Ghosts of the Dance".
A number of private banking groups are involved in sponsorship of the arts and related fields. Credit Suisse, for example, sponsors the Salzburg Festival, an event dating back to 1920. Coutts, the UK private bank, has sponsored institutions such as the Royal Opera House in London, along with other venues.
