Barclays Wealth to Co-Host UK Art Exhibition

Barclays Wealth is co-hosting an exhibition of renowned artists from the north of

England, underscoring how such wealth managers are also advising clients on art investment as an aspect of their services to high net worth individuals.

The wealth management unit of UK bank Barclays is co-hosting an exhibition in
Leeds alongside The Yorkshire Society. Work will include internationally acclaimed artist Ashley Jackson, and renowned sculptor Graham Ibbeson. Both Yorkshire-based artists have received critical acclaim for their talent in recent years. The exhibition runs from 6 to 8 June.

Ashley Jackson is recognised as one of the most prominent watercolour artists of his generation with former
US President Bill Clinton amongst the collectors of his work, and Graham Ibbeson’s depiction of the late comedian Eric Morecombe was recently unveiled by the Queen in Morecambe,
Lancashire.

The Yorkshire Society was formed as a not for profit organisation in 1980 to encourage businesses, charities and individuals from
Yorkshire to join together in promoting the county.
