AlTi Global Names Names Miami Office Leader

22 July 2026
AlTi Global, aka AlTi Tiedemann Global, has hired Cesar Pachon to lead its Miami office. Pachon is a senior wealth advisor with more than two decades of experience serving ultra-high net worth individuals, families and entrepreneurs. He was a founding partner of a multi-family office in South Florida and has advised internationally-connected families on wealth planning. Pachon began his career in investment banking before moving into wealth management. Miami has become a destination for ultra-high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and family offices. For example, it lacks a state income tax - an attraction for those leaving states such as New York, Illinois and California. Miami is also an important financial center for those based in Latin America and the Caribbean, as explored by our US correspondent here and here. Pachon will work with Jim Bertles, AlTi's co-head of US wealth planning based in Palm Beach, to support the firm's growth in South Florida. Pachon's expertise advising international families with assets in the US is expected to contribute to AlTi's expansion in Miami, building on the firm's offshore business led by Ricardo de la Serna and Jose Remy, in a market where domestic and international wealth increasingly converge.
The firm is an independent global wealth manager with about $90 billion in combined assets. FWR has looked at a potential go-private move by the international firm. See here.
