Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Argent, Toews Asset Management

The latest senior moves in the North American wealth management sector.
Argent Mineral Management
Argent Mineral Management, a subsidiary of Argent
Financial Group, has appointed Anna Rachal as mineral
manager.
Rachal, who will focus on mineral wealth, contract negotiation, oil and gas accounting and asset evaluation, will report directly to David Luke, Argent Mineral Management president and David Smith, Argent Mineral Management Louisiana manager. Rachal brings more than 13 years of experience in the energy and land management sectors. Most recently, she served as an energy consultant, a role which involved evaluating property ownership and advising clients on recommended strategies for negotiation, management, organization and regulatory needs.
The property rights associated with extractive energy industries are a major issue. Discovering mineral/energy resources can enrich thousands of landowners, who often had previously not been at all well-off. (This news service examined the intersection of wealth management and mineral rights here.)
Toews Asset Management
Toews
Asset Management, which oversees $1.9 billion in assets, has
named Cory Kendall as its new managing director of strategic
partnerships.
Kendall has more than two decades’ experience in sales leadership in the financial industry. Most recently, Kendall acted as fintech and sales strategy consultant for CK Consulting as well as executive vice president of sales strategy for The Pacific Financial Group. Prior to these roles, he served as executive vice president of sales with turnkey asset management program Orion Portfolio Solutions.
