What's New In Investments, Funds – Allspring

The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relative to wealth advisors and their clients.

Allspring Global Investments has announced that clients can now access its actively managed core-plus fixed income strategy, named CoreBuilder Core Plus, in a separately managed account wrapper through Remi.

(Remi is Allspring’s customized separately managed account and direct indexing solution with more than $66 billion in assets under advisement.)

In the direct indexing space, Allspring has also added an international EAFE index to its platform and now has the ability to blend equity indexes.

Clients can, as a result, have more options across Allspring’s active and passive, equity, and fixed income SMAs in one platform via Remi.

Allspring says it is the 11th-largest SMA provider in the US. An SMA is a privately managed investment account that has been opened through a brokerage or financial advisor. In these accounts, pooled money is used to buy individual assets. As this portfolio is private, the assets it holds are not commingled with other investors.

This news service has written about SMAs and their place in the wealth industry before, for example in this interview of Vestmark.
