BMO Names New Head Of Family Office

The new global head of the business replaces Shannon Kennedy.

Chicago-based BMO Wealth Management has named Amy Griman as the global head of its family office arm, the recently rebranded ultra-high net worth division.

Currently the national head of trust and estates, Griman will be taking over the global head role in August from Shannon Kennedy, who was recently named head, advisory, US and interim CEO of BMO Wealth Management US. Previously, Kennedy was with BNY Mellon Wealth Management where she served as president, US Markets-Southwest.

Griman has over 25 years of industry experience leading teams, driving outcomes, and delivering to clients, the firm said. In her most recent role as the national head of trust and estates, she implemented several initiatives to grow and advance the fiduciary administration business. Griman's tenure at BMO has been "remarkable," Kennedy said.

Griman, who is also the CEO of BMO Delaware Trust Company, which has grown over the last three years, serves as an ambassador for BMO Wealth Management’s Women in Wealth program.

BMO Family Office offers a range of services including financial, tax and estate planning, capital advisory, investment advisory as well as family and trust services. See other articles about the firm here and here.
