Australia's HLB Mann Judd Boosts Wealth Operations With Acquisition

HLB Mann Judd, Australian financial advisory firm, has grown its wealth management division with the recent takeover of boutique planner Howard Financial Partners

 
The acquisition brings HLB's wealth staff numbers from six to 11, with Howard Financial Planners principal Howard Jacob taking the lead as director of the newly merged entity. All four existing Howard management will also be part of the company.
 
"The acquisition will enhance the offering across our suite of wealth management services, add new skills and capabilities to the team," George Wright, wealth management partner at HLB, said in a media release. 
 
HLB Mann Judd consists of eight member firms and 4 representative firms with about 90 partners and 700 staff. On the whole, the company has annual billings of $1.7 billion.
