Rockefeller Global Family Office, the wealth management division of Rockefeller Capital Management, has hired The Kellam Group from Truist for its office in Naples, Florida.

The team advises high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, business owners and multigenerational families. It reports to Kristen Sario, Southeast regional president of Rockefeller Global Family Office. The firm did not disclose the assets the team oversees.

Gordon Kellam, private advisor and managing director, leads the group. At Truist he was a financial advisor and managing director with The Kellam Group of Truist Investment Services in Naples; his specialties include concentrated stock management, options strategies and portfolio design.

He is joined by private advisors and managing directors Matt Caras and Owen Wilson; Brad Cherkin, senior wealth strategist and vice president; Erica Solas, senior client associate and vice president; Sumera Yousaf, client associate and vice president; and Trey Outlaw, financial analyst and vice president.

Rockefeller entered Naples earlier this year by adding Coplin Wealth Partners, a team that joined from Morgan Stanley and reports to Sario, according to Private Banker International. In Florida, the firm also has offices in Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach Gardens, Ponte Vedra, Wellington and Winter Park.

Truist has been a recurring source of recruits. In November 2021, an eight-member team managing $1.5 billion at Truist Investment Services in Palm Beach and Bethesda, Maryland, joined Rockefeller. The firm also hired Truist’s Lewis Wealth Partners of Richmond, Virginia, in 2024, and has since taken a $1 billion Truist team in Charlotte,

Rockefeller Capital Management was established in 2018 and traces its origins to the family office that John D Rockefeller founded in 1882. The firm, which operates from 35 US markets and London, was responsible for $237 billion in client assets as of August 31, 2026. That compares with $203 billion as of March 31, 2026, a rise of about 17 per cent in five months. Sario has said the firm will continue adding experienced teams across the broader Southeast region.
