FactSet, a US financial data and analytics provider, has expanded its partnership with Scotia Wealth Management, the wealth management arm of Canada’s Scotiabank, to integrate its tools more deeply into the firm’s advisor and investment platforms.
Advisors, investment professionals, and support team members across Scotia Wealth Management will have access to FactSet's unified research and intelligence platform, bringing together investment research, market data, portfolio analysis, watchlists, and other resources in one place.
Scotia Wealth Management combines private banking, trust services, portfolio management through 1832 Asset Management and brokerage through ScotiaMcLeod. Its parent reported assets of about C$1.5 trillion as of July 31, 2026.
FactSet, listed on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq, has operated for more than 48 years and serves over 9,200 clients and 260,000 individual users across 20 countries. Wealth management has become a key source of growth for the firm. In its second fiscal quarter to February 28, 2026, FactSet said revenue growth was driven by institutional buy-side and wealth management clients, and that its net user gains came mainly from wealth management and dealmaker users.
In its first financial quarter , FactSet announced a multi-year strategic relationship with TD Wealth, under which it supplies content feeds and market data.
FactSet competes in the market for Canadian technology needs alongside Bloomberg, LSEG and Morningstar, among others. The firm has also been building out AI partnerships, including with Google Cloud and TIFIN.AI, to extend AI-enabled workflows across wealth management and investment banking.
