Composition Wealth, an RIA with more than $12 billion in assets and 125 employees nationwide, has appointed Gabrielle Glemann in the dual role of general counsel and chief compliance officer and Joe Salcido as head of advisors.

Glemann and Salcido each have 20 years’ experience at prominent financial services firms.
The firm, founded in 2007 as Miracle Mile Advisors, is headquartered in Los Angeles. Other locations are Baltimore/DC, Chicago, Columbus, Ohio, New York, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle.
Glemann will lead the firm’s legal and compliance functions, partnering with executive leadership on governance, risk management and strategic growth. Salcido will be responsible for working with advisors to enable organic growth, while offering coaching and delivering practice management support.

Prior to Composition Wealth, Glemann worked at Cercano Management, a SEC-registered investment advisor, where she served as general counsel and partner. She was also a director of legal and compliance at BlackRock; she practiced at Stoel Rives LLP in Seattle; and Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP.
Salcido spent nearly 10 years at Edelman Financial Engines, most recently as regional director of wealth planning, where he led the southeast division of advisors. He was also head of sales at Edelman, and began his career at Vanguard.
