Polen Capital has formed Polen International Equity, a partnership with an international equity investment team that spent nearly a decade at CastleArk Management.
Approximately $1.2 billion in client assets is expected to transition to the new entity, Polen Capital said in a statement.
The team, led by Ajoy Reddi, who has managed the strategy since inception, also includes Maneesh Singhal, Huong Le, and Ken Wang.
Under the arrangement, the group will retain ownership of its investment philosophy, research process and portfolio management while drawing on Polen Capital's operational and distribution infrastructure.
Polen International Equity will become the fourth business under Polen Capital's multi-franchise structure, joining Quality Growth, 5Perspectives Growth and Leveraged Credit as autonomous investment franchises. Polen Capital, founded in 1989 and based in Boca Raton, Florida, manages about $60 billion in assets.
CastleArk Management, founded in 1999, runs active equity strategies across domestic and international markets, including large-cap, small and SMID-cap growth and international equity mandates. The Chicago-headquartered firm has around $3 billion to $4.6 billion in assets under management.
