Brown Advisory A partner and portfolio manager in the firm's private client, endowments and foundations business, Dean will continue advising clients. The office is located in the Presidio area of the city, and a hub for work with individuals, families, foundations, endowments and institutional investors across California. Brown Advisory, operating as a private and independent firm since 1988, was responsible for about $188.4 billion of client money as of June 30 this year. It has more than 1,000 personnel and operates 20 offices worldwide. Prior to joining Brown Advisory, Dean was a senior vice president and private wealth advisor at Capital Group Private Client Services; previously he held institutional equity sales positions at Merrill Lynch and Alex Brown. Brown Advisory has appointed Lisi Bailliere Dean as head of its San Francisco office.
A team including three advisors, based in New Jersey, has joined the independent advisor channel of Raymond James. Operating as Seven Arrows Wealth in Parsippany, New Jersey, the team previously managed $250 million in client assets at Ameriprise Financial Services.
The team is led by managing partners Ben Burklow, Morgan Burklow and Rick Vanderpool. They are joined by client concierge Judith Nixon, practice business coordinator Frieda Stamoutsos-Stamidou and client service manager Ryan Del Grande.
