In addition to leading business development efforts in the corporate space across Brazil and the wider LatAm market, he will be a key contact for private client and funds related business development activity in the region. With more than two decades of experience in cross-border M&A, investment banking, corporate finance and business development, Guimaraes has particular expertise in supporting clients in identifying and solving complex multi-jurisdictional needs, and in supporting ambitious businesses with their cross-border growth strategies. Guimaraes was formerly a partner of M&A advisory, corporate finance boutiques and a prominent Brazilian corporate law firm, where he led deal origination, structuring, valuation, negotiation and execution across several sectors.
