Cresset Appoints Former JP Morgan Private Bank Figure As Denver Office MD

Cresset has appointed Ali Bathgate Hild as a managing director in its Denver office, having joined from JP Morgan Private Bank. Among recent moves, Cresset Capital Management, appointed Mark Ostroff as managing director, wealth advisor. In March, Cresset said Susie Cranston , formerly president of the firm, assumed the role of chief executive officer. Co-founders Avy Stein and Eric Becker continued as executive co-chairmen. There have been high-level changes in recent years. Lisa Nesvold, who became Cresset president in 2023, left and re-surfaced as chair of Emigrant Partners in February 2024. Hild worked at JP Morgan for 14 years, working with the Denver, New York, and Greenwich offices. Hild oversaw about $1 billion in assets under advisement and was named to the Morgan Circle, recognizing the top 52 advisors in the US private bank, Cresset said in a statement late last week about her appointment.
Hild is an active member of the Denver community, serving on the Investment Committee for the Kent Denver School Board of Trustees, and as a mentor for the Challenge Foundation, an organization providing talented but disadvantaged students with educational opportunities. A Colorado native, Hild is a former Junior Olympic mogul skier. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics and Spanish, with a Minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina.
