Three senior leaders from The First National Bank in Sioux Falls, South Dakota have left the institution to launch their indepenedent RIA, Prairie View Wealth Partners.

The firm, which is co-founded by Adam Cox, Kyle Cipperley, CFA, and Paula Bindert, CPA/PFS, specializes in working with those designing their careers, growing businesses and shaping long-term legacies. With a combined 70 years of experience across wealth management and tax planning, the founding team brings expertise shaped by their time at an organization overseeing more than $10 billion in assets.

“Launching Prairie View Wealth Partners is a deeply personal decision for our team,” said Cox. “In many ways, this is about building our dream home for our careers, a place where we can design every detail around how we believe clients should be served. We wanted the freedom to create an experience that is thoughtful, relationship-driven and centered on helping people make confident financial decisions at every stage of their journey.”

“Too often, financial advice can feel transactional or narrowly-focused,” said Bindert, who has spent the last four years working alongside her co-founders. “Our goal is to integrate tax strategy, planning, and investment management into a seamless experience that reflects each client’s full financial picture and personal goals.”

Prior to 2022, Bindert built and operated her own tax practice. Her experience provides the foundation for Prairie View’s plan to emphasize tax-aware planning as a central pillar of its financial planning philosophy, the firm said.

Prairie View will also invest in thought leadership and client education. Cox, host of the award-winning podcast Common Cents on the Prairie™, plans to launch a new podcast aligned with the firm’s mission to connect with clients and the broader community.

“Whether someone is early in their career, building a business or thinking about the legacy they want to leave, our role is to help them navigate those moments with clarity and confidence,” said Cipperley. “We’re excited to build something meaningful alongside our clients.”

Prairie View Wealth Partners is established as a fee-only advisory firm, using Raymond James & Associates as its custodian. The firm is headquartered in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
