RockX, HSBC
RockX, an Asian tech and solutions firm working in the crypto finance and blockchain space, has appointed Paul Mischenko as its Americas head as the firm expands into the region.
Mischenko, who has worked in financial services for 25 years, spent 15 years at HSBC, initially serving as the head of foreign exchange forwards and NDF desk, then progressing to be head of FX and electronic trading for the Americas in 2007, and later leading the entire FX business across the Americas from 2014. He was also a member of the New York Federal Reserve Chief Dealers Working Group.
Previous collaborations include working with a crypto quant fund on an early-stage liquid coin venture fund, RockX said in a statement.
In his new role, Mischenko will use his experience to inform business strategy, provide insights on market and macroeconomic conditions, help integrate digital assets and traditional finance, and steer RockX’s expansion in the Americas.
