BNP Paribas Asset Management has launched the US Small Cap Equity actively managed mutual fund.

The BNPP AM US Small Cap Equity Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of quality companies.

The firm will search out companies that have competitive advantages which it believes will allow the firm to grow its earnings, in an attempt to produce attractive long-term risk adjusted returns.

The fund is co-managed by Pamela Woo, head of US equities for BNPP AM and Geoffry Dailey, senior portfolio manager for BNPP AM.

It is low-cost and actively managed featuring attractive initial expense ratios of 0.75 per cent for institutional shares; 0.90 per cent for investor shares; and 1.15 per cent for retail shares.
