BNP Paribas Asset Management has appointed Tamara Jackson as director of US institutional business development for the western region of the states. 

Jackson will have responsibility for developing relationships and building business with all major institutional asset owners across various distribution channels. 

She will report to Neil Johnson, head of US institutional business development, and will be based in Los Angeles.

Kestra Financial
US-based  Kestra Financial has hired financial services firm MidAtlantic Retirement Planning Specialists to its independent advisor platform.

Led by Thom Shumosic, the financial professionals of MidAtlantic Retirement Planning Specialists focus on helping people save and invest to achieve their retirement goals through individual retirement accounts and company 401 plans.

Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, the MidAtlantic Retirement Planning Specialists team generates approximately $2.4 million in annual revenue. 

Farkouh, Furman & Faccio 
Farkouh, Furman & Faccio, a boutique accounting and advisory firm, has joined forces with CPI Associates, a tax advisory firm in Manhattan.

The founder of CPI Associates, Lee Robins, and the rest of CPI's staff will join FF&F, and this expansion will allow the firm to deal with client demand.

Bailard
California-based asset and wealth manager Bailard has appointed Louise Model  as vice president and business development officer.

In her role, she will focus on Bailard’s high net worth relationships in the San Francisco Bay Area.

She joins Bailard with 25 years' experience in the financial services industry, including 10 years with real estate securities manager Kensington Investment Group as vice president of capital markets and as a financial consultant.
