The link-up will allow Nuveen to offer alternative investment solutions to registered investment advisors, family offices, private banks and other financial advisors serving high net worth investors. 

Advisors will be able to use investment tools, education materials and a client service team. They will have access to Nuveen and TIAA’s alternative investment business, which as of March 31, 2016, had over $140 billion in assets, including real estate, agriculture, infrastructure, timber, agribusiness, private equity, as well as alternative credit-based, long/short, and special sector investment strategies.
