Standard Chartered Private Bank Appoints Americas Sales Chief

Standard Chartered Private Bank has appointed Diego Polenghi as senior director, head of sales for the Americas, underlining the UK-listed bank’s commitment to that region.

Mr Polenghi is based in Miami with primary responsibility to manage and expand Standard Chartered’s Private Banking sales effort in Latin America. He reports to Diego Folino, head of Private Bank, Americas.

With over 20 years of experience in wealth management, his primary focus during his career has been on high net worth individuals and families in Latin America.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank, Mr Polenghi was Head of Banque Privee BCP (Suisse) SA Latin America, based in Geneva, Switzerland.

He has also worked in the US and Switzerland for Credit Suisse, UBS, Standard NY Securities and Beta Capital Management.
