YES Bank Inks Strategic Partnership With Maybank

YES Bank, the Indian bank, is collaborating with Malaysia's Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank) on a number of cross-border services.
The partnership is meant to further augment trade and investment flows in the Indo-South East Asia region, particularly on both companies' investment banking, corporate banking, trade finance and remittance offerings.
"This alliance with Maybank furthers our commitment towards the India - Southeast Asia business corridor. Through our knowledge banking initiatives and advisory services, we look forward to further explore opportunities for cross–border trade and investments," said Dr Rana Kapoor, the founder, managing director and chief executive of YES Bank, in a statement.
YES Bank has 255 branches across India and records Rs56,964 crore in total assets as 30 June 2011. Maybank has over 1,750 branches in 14 countries and lists more than $100 million in assets under management.
