Wilmington Trust Hires Wells Fargo Exec To Lead Fiduciary Unit

Wilmington Trust, the wealth management firm that caters to high net worth clients, has appointed Darlene Marchesani Baris as vice president and senior fiduciary advisor for its fiduciary services unit.
Baris was a vice president and senior trust and fiduciary officer at Wells Fargo Bank before joining Wilmington Trust. She rejoins the firm's wealth advisory service, where she previously served as vice president and senior trust advisor.
In this new role, Baris will be working closely with the company's offices across the US, particularly California and New York, providing solutions to complex estate planning issues and fiduciary administration of Delaware trusts to ultra-high net worth clients. She reports directly to Tess Pietrucci, vice president and head of trust administration.
This is the third key hire for Wilmington Trust's high net worth offering in the past month, the other two being the appointment of Matthew Canner as senior private client advisor for the family wealth business and Tom Rogerson as managing director and family wealth strategist.
