Wilmington Trust, the Delaware-based wealth advisory firm, is expanding the management team of its New York City office.
Wilmington Trust's newly hired executives are Murray Stoltz, senior private client advisor and head of sales management; James Nesci, chief operating officer; and Lisa Hurwich, regional marketing director.
Mr Stoltz joins Wilmington from Fiduciary Trust Company International in New York, where he was senior vice president and director of individual business development. He has also served as a managing director at Morgan Stanley, a finance professional at Credit Suisse First Boston, and an analyst at Smith Barney.
Mr Nesci joins Wilmington Trust’s wealth advisory group from the company’s corporate client services office in New York, where he was responsible for the development of fiduciary and agency services to corporations, municipalities, and financial institutions.
Ms Hurwich joins Wilmington Trust from advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi in New York, where she was an account supervisor. She has also worked at J. Walter Thompson in New York.
Mr Stoltz, Mr Nesci, and Ms Hurwich report to Peter “Tony” Guernsey Jr, president of Wilmington Trust in New York. Mr Guernsey also has management responsibility for Wilmington Trust’s four wealth advisory offices in Florida.
Wilmington Trust New York opened in 1998 at 520 Madison Avenue, with a professional staff of just three. Today the office employs 40 people, including private client advisors, investment management experts, and trust officers.
