Wilmington Trust Expands Retirement Business With Senior Hires

Wilmington Trust has added a team of business development professionals to its Delaware corporate client services headquarters in a bid to bolster its retirement services offering.
Effective immediately, Stephen Johnson and Eric Mull step into newly-created positions to provide support to the firm's existing network of financial advisors and third-party administrators to deliver trust services to selected plan sponsors. The duo will specifically focus on the auto industry, reporting to Rob Barnett, the vice president and senior client development officer for the Wilmington Trust Retirement and Institutional Services business.
Prior to the appointments, both worked for NADART, where Johnson was a director of business development and client service and Mull was a senior retirement services consultant.
Wilmington Trust has provided trust and custody services for retirement plans for around five decades, and WTRIS provides trust and accounting options for clients whose unbundled plans use different providers for recordkeeping, asset management, and trust and custody.
The Corporate Client Services unit records some $56.6 billion in assets under administration as of 30 June 2011.
