Wilmington Trust Boosts Private Client Team In Connecticut

Wilmington Trust has appointed John Barrett to serve high net worth individuals and families from its Connecticut office.

Wilmington Trust hired John Barrett as managing director and senior private client advisor within its Norwalk, Connecticut office.

Barrett, who brings 20 years' experience in the financial industry, was previously private client advisor at US Trust. Before this, he was managing director at First Republic Bank.

In his new role, Barrett will offer wealth management advice to clients in Connecticut, Westchester County, and New York City.

“We are pleased to add someone with John’s breadth of experience with business development and relationship management in this market,” said Wilmington Trust’s North-east region president,  Larry Gore.
