Wilmington Trust Appoints New York President

Wilmington Trust has named a new head of wealth advisory services in New York after making a senior promotion last week.

Wilmington Trust has appointed Sharon Klein as president of the New York metropolitan region to oversee all wealth advisory services.

Klein joined Wilmington Trust in 2013 as managing director of family office services and wealth strategies for the same region. The firm confirmed that she will maintain this role alongside her new one.

Before joining the firm she was managing director and head of wealth advisory services at Lazard Wealth Management. Earlier, she led the estate advisement department at Fiduciary Trust Company International and was special counsel in the trusts and estates department at Rosenman & Colin (now Katten Muchin Rosenman).
