Wilmington Hires Three From Merrill In New York

Wilmington Trust has added three senior wealth advisors to the company's Wealth Advisory Services business in the Northeast region from Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York.
Walter Dillingham joins as managing director and business development officer, while John Lawson and Leigh Weiss come on board as managing directors and investment advisors. All three specialize in serving the endowments and foundations market.
"Although they will work out of our New York office, each of them will serve as a national resource for our firm as we continue to expand our efforts in the important endowment and foundation market segment," Roger Hobby, president of Wilmington Trust FSB's Northeast region, said in a statement.
Dillingham was most recently director of philanthropic management for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Lawson was most recently a senior institutional portfolio strategist and Weiss a managing director and senior institutional portfolio strategist.
