Star Mountain Capital
Star
Mountain Capital, an investment firm managing over $4.0
billion in AuM, has promoted Scott Couto to president and he will
join its executive committee.
Couto, a senior advisor, has more than 30 years of experience in the asset management business including executive leadership, risk management, investor communications, investment strategy, distribution, marketing and investment product development. Most recently, Couto was executive vice president and head of North America for Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Before this, he was president of Fidelity Institutional Asset Management. Couto has also worked at Evergreen Investments, as chief operating officer.
Nepsis
RIA Nepsis has
appointed Derek Malmquist as vice president of marketing. He was
formerly VP of global marketing and content development for
Reinsurance Group of America. Malmquist has an MBA from
Harvard Business School and a bachelor of arts from Harvard
University.
Realta Wealth
Realta Wealth,
an RIA based in Wilmington, Delaware, has appointed Paul Tyler as
senior vice president, director of business development. Tyler
reports to CEO Kevin Keefe.
Tyler will implement a strategy to enhance the nationwide recruiting of financial advisors to Realta.
Prior to this, Tyler was a regional director, experienced advisor recruiting, at Ameriprise Financial Services. He held various positions at Ameriprise since starting there in 2007 as a financial advisor.
