The latest moves and appointments in wealth management in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle

Neuberger Berman
Neuberger Berman has hired Fekko Ebbens for the newly-created role of head of institutional Benelux.

Ebbens (pictured), who has over 27 years of experience, is joining from UBS Asset Management, where he was most recently global head of institutional client coverage. Prior to this, he covered institutional business development at Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch. He holds an MSc in business economics from Universiteit Groningen and is a CFA charterholder.

Ebbens will be based in the Hague alongside 40 asset management professionals, including the client coverage, emerging market debt, European private loans and global sustainable equity investment teams. He will report to Matt Malloy, head of global institutional client group, and Dik van Lomwel, head of EMEA and Latin America.

Cas Peters, the current head of Benelux, will step into a senior advisor role and will continue to provide guidance to Neuberger Berman’s clients in the region.

Welcoming Ebbens, Malloy said: “We look forward to having Fekko on board. He brings with him a deep understanding of the institutional needs and priorities across asset classes, sectors and through the liquidity spectrum.”

Tyndall Investment Management
Wealth and fund firm Tyndall Investment Management has appointed three people to join its private client practice. 

Mark Jenkins and Dennis Cooper are joining the firm as investment directors, while Joe Holland will become assistant investment manager. They previously worked at Walker Crips.

Jenkins was investment director at Walker Crips and brings 35 years’ experience to his new position at Tyndall. Having started his career as a stockbroker at Gerrard, Vivian Gray's subsequent roles include investment director at SociĂ©tĂ© GĂ©nĂ©rale and Savoy Investment Management.

Cooper was also an investment director at Walker Crips having joined the firm in 2012.  Prior to this he was an investment manager at Savoy Investment Management, a position he previously held at NCL Investments. 

Holland joined Walker Crips in 2019 as an investment assistant within the firm’s private client practice.

Yvonne Shottle has also moved to Tyndall from Walker Crips as a secretary to the private client team. She has over 35 years’ experience within the financial services industry, attending to the needs of private clients. Previously, she worked at SociĂ©tĂ© GĂ©nĂ©rale and Savoy Investment Management prior to joining Walker Crips in 2012.
