Mellon Wealth Management has appointed David Santos as a
wealth manager.
Boston-based Santos, who joined on June 12, reports to Christine Abramo, regional director of portfolio management, New England. He is responsible for the comprehensive wealth management of ultra-high net worth clients, including portfolio management and providing strategic planning and advice, the firm said in a statement.
Santos, who has more than three decades in the financial services industry, has established himself as a trusted leader in the region. The firm believes that his emphasis on planning-based advice combined with his understanding of the complexities of high net worth and UHNW individuals and families will strengthen the delivery of its Active Wealth framework.
Santos joined from Northern Trust where he spent 18 years, most recently as a senior VP and regional portfolio advisor. Prior to Northern Trust, he was at Putnam Investments for 19 years as a managing director and senior portfolio manager.
