Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management – Aviva Investors, Kroll, PAM

The latest moves and appointments in wealth management in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and other select locations.

Aviva Investors
Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of Aviva, has appointed Oskar Geldof as head of the Benelux countries â€“ Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Geldof is based in Amsterdam and reports to Torben Dunkel, head of Europe at Aviva Investors, the firm said in a statement. He is succeeding Catrinus Van Willigen, who has retired after almost 13 years with the firm.

Geldof, who has over 20 years of experience in the industry, previously spent a decade at Fidelity International where he was most recently head of institutional sales (public and private markets) for the Netherlands, the firm added. Prior to this, Geldof served in senior sales roles in asset management and investment banking in London, New York and Benelux.

“Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg represent an important institutional market for Aviva Investors and we have ambitious plans to further grow our presence in the region,” Dunkel said.

Kroll
Kroll, a provider of global risk and financial advisory solutions, has appointed Julian Marsh as managing director in Kroll’s financial services compliance and regulation practice.

Based in London, Marsh will focus on expanding Kroll’s capabilities and footprint in the banking sector, advising clients on risk management, compliance and regulatory processes, and governance-related matters, the firm said in a statement. He will be working with wholesale and investment banks to ensure that organisations are prepared for the shifting business, regulatory and compliance landscape.

Marsh brings over 25 years of experience in the banking sector, having supported some of the largest banking institutions in executing complex, large scale multi-jurisdictional regulatory and business transformation projects across all aspects of the enterprise, the firm added.

Pacific Asset Management
A London-based independent asset manager, Pacific Asset Management (PAM), has appointed David Brooks as director in the UK advisor solutions distribution team.

Brooks will be responsible for the distribution of PAM’s range of technology-enabled advisor solutions, reporting to Ben Sears, head of UK solutions in London, the firm said in a statement.

“David has a fantastic name in the industry and brings deep expertise working with financial planning firms to deliver quality investment solutions," Sears said.

Previously, Brooks spent nearly a decade at LGT Wealth Management, where he was a partner running key advisor relationships across the South West of England, the firm added. Brooks' appointment follows PAM’s hire of Elliott Kibble in March as an associate director who focuses on advisor relationships in the North of England.
