Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Loxahatchee Capital, UBS, Baird, Others

The latest senior wealth management moves, appointments and personnel changes in North America.

Loxahatchee Capital, UBS
Loxahatchee Capital, a Tequesta, Florida-based boutique multi-family office overseeing $1.4 billion in assets, has appointed former UBS figure Andrea L Cording (main picture) as operations director.

At UBS, Cording was a business analyst for the Florida market, supporting 280 advisors in 34 offices. Throughout her UBS career, Cording held positions spanning client service, private wealth management, and market-level operations across South Florida and beyond. Earlier in her career, she served as a personal banker at Bank of America, where she was involved in business development and relationship management.

"The success and quality of a firm is ultimately a reflection of the people behind it, and Andrea brings exactly the kind of deep operational expertise and institutional knowledge to empower our continued growth," Andrew J Plum, managing partner and head of the investment committee at Loxahatchee Capital, said.

Cording holds a bachelor of business administration in finance from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a series of industry licences.

Baird said The Kashian Karels Group, formerly at RBC, has joined its wealth management office in Edina, Minnesota. (See picture below)

The team includes:

Darla J Kashian, director, financial advisor; Michael L Karels, director, financial advisor; Tanner Petroske, associate financial advisor, and Ann Hoen, assistant vice president.

At RBC, the team managed more than $508 million in client assets and managed retirement services for private clients and businesses, asset allocation strategies and lending solutions.

Baird’s Private Wealth Management had more than $372 billion in client assets as of March 31, 2026.

Raymond James
Raymond James has promoted Daniel Cole to division director for the Northeast division of Raymond James Financial Services’ Independent Contractor Division (ICD).

Cole brings nearly two decades of experience at Raymond James to the role, most recently serving as regional director for ICD Northeast. 

Cole has held many leadership roles and developed a broad perspective on the firm’s independent advisor business. He joined Raymond James in 2007 in an operations position before moving into the Raymond James & Associates Private Client Group (PCG) and later PCG Technology. Cole earned a degree in finance and management from the University of South Florida and holds industry licenses, the Wealth Management Specialist designation and a Certified Corporate Coach certification.
