Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Lazard Asset Management, RBC Global AM

The latest appointments, moves and personnel changes in the North American wealth management sector.

Lazard
Asset Management has appointed Gordon McKemie (pictured
below) as managing director and head of leveraged loans and high
yield. He will be based in New York, reporting to Arnaud
Brillois, global head of fixed income.

McKemie, who has nearly 20 years of experience across leveraged loans, high yield, and multi-asset credit strategies, will be responsible for leading the development of a dedicated leveraged loans capability within Lazard’s fixed income platform. As part of this remit, he collaborate with the US high yield team to expand the firm’s credit offering for clients.
Previously, McKemie was at Blackstone Credit & Insurance, where he served as MD and portfolio manager within the liquid credit strategies group: managing several public credit vehicles; helping to develop multi-asset investment frameworks; and improving credit agreement standards through industry collaboration. Prior to BC&I he worked in leveraged finance and credit research at Citigroup and Barclays Capital.
RBC Global Asset Management
RBC Global Asset Management said it has expanded its US
intermediary sales team. This client segment includes wealth
management firms, RIAs, defined contribution platforms,
sub-advisors, private banks, bank trusts, broker dealers, turnkey
asset management programs (TAMPs), and multi-family offices.
The joiners are:
-- Scott Martin, director, US intermediary sales
– South Central; and
-- Brad Havenga, director of US intermediary sales
– Northeast.
The sales directors report to Dave Eikenberg, head of US intermediary sales at RBC GAM.
