Asset Management, a specialist asset manager investing in the
transition to a more sustainable economy, has announced the
appointment of Amber Fairbanks as portfolio manager.
Joining Impax’s Listed Equities team, Fairbanks will help develop new products including in Social Investment and will become a co-portfolio manager on a planned new strategy. Her hire will not impact or change the portfolio management line up of Impax’s existing strategies, including its Environmental Markets and Sustainability Lens strategies.
A highly-respected investment professional with 21 years of experience, Fairbanks has joined from Mirova, where she was co-manager of the Mirova International Sustainable Equity, US Sustainable Equity and Global Sustainable Equity funds. Prior to joining Mirova in October 2018, Fairbanks was a portfolio manager and analyst at Zevin Asset Management for over a decade. Previously, she was an analyst at J.L. Kaplan Associates, a division of Evergreen Investments, and worked for Delta Partners, a Boston-based hedge fund.
She received her MBA from Boston College Carroll School of Management and has a BS in environmental science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Fairbanks is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Joining with immediate effect and based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Fairbanks reports to Charles French, deputy chief investment officer, Listed Investments.

Alex Brown, Raymond James
Alex Brown, a
division of Raymond James, has
welcomed client advisor Steven B Beasley, in New York.
Beasley joins Alex. Brown’s Park Avenue office, where he will provide personalized financial planning and wealth management advice to clients, including high net worth families, pre-retirees, corporate executives and others. He previously managed approximately $307 million in client assets at UBS Financial Services.
A native of New York, Beasley’s 36-year career began on Wall Street at EF Hutton & Company, where he was an account executive. He later served nearly two decades in an advisory position at Citigroup’s private wealth management arm, Citigroup Family Office, followed by 15 years at UBS.
