Impax Asset Management
Impax
Asset Management, a specialist asset manager investing in the
transition to a more sustainable economy, has appointed Leah
Wood as global head of marketing and client experience.
Wood will be responsible for articulating Impax’s client proposition and brand positioning, as well as for the marketing, client experience and corporate communications teams globally, the firm said in a statement.
Together with Lisa Beauvilain, head of sustainability and stewardship, Wood also oversees Impax’s Beyond Financial Reporting activity across the firm.
Based in New York, she has joined the Impax Executive Committee and reports to Ed Farrington, head of distribution, North America.
Wood, who joined Impax in 2016 to build and lead the client service function in North America, most recently was head of global client experience. She brings knowledge of investments, client service and marketing in institutional asset management.
Prior to joining Impax, Wood was a member of Russell Investments’ multi-asset portfolio management team based in New York, with a focus on marketing and client service.
Welcoming the move, Ian Simm, founder and chief executive at Impax, said: “Since joining the team in 2016, she has made a significant contribution to deepening our relationships with major clients and helped to lead the inception and expansion of our New York office.”
Wood added: "I am honored to step into this role and am excited by the responsibility of leading Impax’s brand and client proposition. Our clients remain at the center of our business model, and we look forward to deepening and strengthening our existing relationships, as well as fostering new relationships, as we continue to focus on the investment opportunities arising from the transition to more sustainable economy.”
