Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Glenmede, Nevada Trust Company, DUC

The latest senior wealth management industry moves, appointments and personnel changes in North America.Â
Glenmede
Glenmede has
appointed Michael H Novak as relationship manager, wealth
advisory, and managing director, reporting to Bethany Bryant,
Ohio regional director.
Novak will provide fiduciary, advisory, and wealth planning guidance to support Glenmede clients.
Most recently, Novak was senior fiduciary officer and senior vice president at Northern Trust, managing the trust practice in Ohio. Before that, he was a personal trust officer/SVP at Key Private Bank. He has more than three decades’ experience in the wealth management sector.
Nowak also serves on the Southwest General Hospital Foundation Board and the associated Investment and Finance Committees. He earned his master of business administration, with a concentration in banking and finance, from Case Western Reserve University and his bachelor of science in finance from the University of Dayton.
Together with its affiliates, Glenmede oversees $53 billion in assets under management, as of June 30. Headquartered in Philadelphia, Glenmede has offices in Ohio, Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Pittsburgh, and Washington, DC.
Nevada Trust Company
Joe Mazon, president of Nevada Trust
Company , has been appointed treasurer of Ducks Unlimited
Canada, a wetland and wildlife conservation organization. He is
the first US person to hold this post, NTC said in a
statement yesterday.
Mazon will serve for two years in the role, helping provide board-level financial oversight and strategic guidance.
A native of Connecticut, Mazon has more than 40 years’ investment and financial leadership experience. Nevada Trust Company is an independent trust administration and investment firm that serves more than 1,400 clients. He previously served as MD within MetLife’s investment organization.
Ducks Unlimited is active in the US, and Mazon chairs the DU Inc investment committee, which oversees the group’s endowment and 401(k) funds. DUC and DU Inc are separate organizations.
Ameriprise Financial
Financial advisors Lee Winters III and Chris McClure have joined
the branch channel of Ameriprise
Financial from Wells Fargo Clearing Services, in Columbia
South Carolina, with $160 million in client assets. The advisors
are joined by client service associate Darragh James.
