UK-based Evelyn Partners,
the wealth management and professional services group, has
appointed Declan Kirby as a chartered financial planner based in
its Birmingham office.
Previously, Kirby (pictured) worked for Henwood Court Financial Planning as a chartered financial planner, providing financial planning and wealth management advice to his clients, the firm said in a statement. He works mainly with senior executives, business owners and professionals, and is a fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
“As a chartered financial planner and fellow of the Personal Finance Society Declan is a high-calibre addition to an already quality team. Declan is passionately client focussed and is motivated by being a trusted counsel and life business partner to his clients,” Niraj Vyas, managing partner at Evelyn Partners said.
Evelyn Partners’ personal wealth management services include financial planning, investment management and personal tax advice, while for businesses it provides assurance and accounting, business tax advice, employee benefits, forensic advice, fund administration, recovery and restructuring and transaction services.
Pacific Asset Management
Pacific Asset
Management (PAM) has appointed Sebastian Stewart as a partner
and head of US institutional business development, based in its
London office. He will report to global head of institutional
sales, Mary Murphy, the firm said in a statement.
Prior to joining PAM, Stewart spent over a decade at Somerset Capital Management LLP where he had been a partner, head of client services and deputy head of marketing. He was responsible for building institutional client relationships across North America, Europe and Asia, with a particular focus on pension funds, foundations, endowments and other professional investors in the US. Stewart is also chairman of the Independent Investment Management Initiative (the IIMI), a think tank, lobby group and networking platform representing specialist asset management firms globally.

Franklin
Templeton has appointed Giovanna Cilia as ETF sales
specialist, with immediate effect.
Cilia, who will be based in Zurich, will report to Caroline Baron, head of ETF distribution, EMEA. In this newly-created position, Cilia will lead business development efforts for Franklin Templeton’s UCITS ETF 2 platform – Franklin Templeton ICAV – in Switzerland, the firm said in a statement. Working closely with local and regional distribution teams, she will focus on using existing relationships to engage clients on the firm’s ETF proposition whilst also identifying pure ETF buyers in that market.
Cilia has over three decades of international financial services experience, including time at Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan (both in London) and Eurex Zürich AG. Most recently, Cilia was a senior ETF sales specialist at UBS AG in Zurich covering professional and institutional clients in Suisse Romande and Ticino leveraging her language skills. Cilia holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in banking from the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich.
“Giovanna has a wealth of experience and a strong knowledge and understanding of the Swiss ETF market. She will be a strong addition to the Swiss distribution team who look forward to working closely with her,” Christian Leger, head of distribution – Switzerland, said.
