The latest moves and appointments in wealth management in the Americas.
DWS
German asset manager DWS
has named Stephen Cianci as a senior portfolio manager in its US
fixed income team.
With more than three decades of experience in fixed income multi-sector portfolio management, Cianci will be based in the New York office and report to Shilpa Lakhani, head of portfolio management fixed income solutions. He will focus on the firm’s institutional investors, including managing the insurance company general account and other complex balance sheet assets, the firm said in a statement.
Cianci is joining from MacKay Shields, where he has worked since 2018. Prior to that, he was with Aberdeen AM for seven years, where his responsibilities included head of US core plus and opportunistic fixed income on the North American fixed income team. Before joining Aberdeen AM, he worked as co-head of core and core plus fixed income strategies, lead portfolio manager for short duration products, and the head of structured products at Logan Circle Partners. Previously, he served in similar roles as a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager at Delaware Investments.
“This addition further illustrates DWS’ commitment to insurance solutions' growth and enhancing our core capabilities,” George Catrambone, head of fixed income, Americas, said.
