The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in wealth management in North America.

Cetera has appointed
Torrance Chaplin as community leader of Cetera Investors and Sean
Marrin as community leader of RIA Network, two advisor
communities within its RIA & Branches Channel.
Both people will report to Jennifer Hanau, president of the channel.
Cetera Investors operates through Cetera's supported independence branch model, while RIA Network, powered by Blueprint, serves independent RIAs. In their new roles, Chaplin and Marrin will lead advisor engagement and focus on recruiting, retention and advisor productivity across their respective communities.
Chaplin is joining from Primerica, where he was regional vice president, leading a multi-state business supporting more than 250 financial advisors and independent business owners. He previously served as an officer in the US Marine Corps and holds a degree from the US Naval Academy. Marrin is joining from Raymond James, where he was division director for RIA & custody services, working on expanding the advisor platform through recruiting independent advisory firms. He has also held leadership positions at Schwab Institutional and LPL Financial.
As of March 31, 2026, Cetera firms managed about $630 billion in assets under administration and $296 billion in assets under management.
Verdence Capital Advisors
Verdence
Capital Advisors, based in Maryland, has appointed Bryan
Dalesandro as executive director of financial planning. He is
joining from RiversEdge Advisors, where he served as
director of financial planning, a role he also previously held at
Concentus Wealth Advisors.
Dalesandro will oversee Verdence's financial planning division, working with the firm's advisory teams to build planning strategies for ultra-high net worth families. He will also mentor and develop planners at the firm.
Verdence is a private wealth advisory and multi-family office headquartered in Hunt Valley, Maryland, with additional offices in Alexandria, Virginia, Boston, Naples, Florida and Sarasota, Florida. The firm had approximately $4.9 billion in assets under management as of July 29, 2026.
The hire follows a series of recent additions to the firm, which has also brought in Abraham Miller, Justin Allen, Colin Rafferty and Connor Richardson in various roles.
Raymond James
Financial advisors Cory Matsumoto, Rey Carandang and Genae
Affrunti have joined the employee advisor channel of Raymond James.
Operating as Capital Reserve Group of Raymond James in Newport Beach, California, the team has arrived from Comerica where they managed $5.4 billion in client assets.
