Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Broadridge Financial Solutions, SEI, Willow Wealth

The latest executive moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management.

Broadridge Financial Solutions
Broadridge Financial Solutions has appointed Mark Nichols (pictured) as co-president, digital assets to head Broadridge’s strategy, product development, and execution across tokenization and digital assets. He will work alongside co-president German Soto Sanchez.

Nichols was previously a partner at Ernst & Young US, where he co-led EY’s digital asset consulting business and led its market infrastructure consulting practice. Earlier in his career, he led product across FCM, collateral, and funding within Deutsche Bank’s fixed income business.

“Digital assets are a critical part of the next generation of market infrastructure, and Broadridge is delivering a suite of solutions that support clients and investors in the trading and on-chain governance of tokenized securities with institutional grade scalability, accuracy, compliance, and workflows,” said Tim Gokey, CEO of Broadridge. “Mark’s combination of strategic vision, market infrastructure expertise, and deep knowledge of tokenization will help us accelerate those efforts and support the adoption of tokenized securities.”

SEI
SEI has appointed Rob Wrzesniewski as head of Stratos Technology within the US-headquartered firm’s SEI asset management business. Most recently, he led the global solutions team for SEI’s private banking and wealth management business.

Wrzesniewski will report to Jeff Benfield, chief product officer at SEI, and Jeff Concepcion, founder and CEO of Stratos.

In this newly-created role, Wrzesniewski will advance Stratos’ technology strategy, in particular advisor technology oversight, platform alignment, and long-term capability development.

Wrzesniewski, who joined SEI in 1992, has served in a variety of leadership roles across its advisor and private banking businesses as well as its investment management unit.

Last December, SEI said it had completed the first stage of its strategic investment in Stratos Wealth Holdings.

Willow Wealth
Willow Wealth, a private markets platform with more than 500,000 members, has named Larry Greenberg as president, reporting to Mitchell Caplan, the CEO. Greenberg will be responsibsle for leading the company's customer experience.

The move has reunited Greenberg with Caplan, the partner with whom he built and sold two financial companies, Telebanc Financial (to E*TRADE) and Jefferson National (to Nationwide).

Greenberg’s appointment follows the early-June announcement that Tom Williams had been appointed as chief investment officer. Williams joined from Morgan Stanley's Outsourced Chief Investment Office.

Willow Wealth recently raised more than $77 million in its most recent funding round.
