Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – AssetMark

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management.

AssetMark
AssetMark a provider of wealth management and technology solutions for financial advisors, has appointed Phill Rogerson as senior vice president and head of the RIA Channel, reporting directly to CEO Michael Kim.

He will be responsible for leading the firm’s expansion in the RIA space – one of the industry’s fastest expanding segments. Rogerson’s leadership will help advisors unlock greater efficiency, scale their businesses, and enhance enterprise value, the firm said in a statement.

Rogerson will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the site of AssetMark’s newly-designated East Coast hub â€“ a region home to 4,300 financial advisors, making Charlotte a strategic location for AssetMark’s continued expansion.

Rogerson, who has more than 30 years of experience in wealth and investment management, most recently led the RIA Channel at Envestnet, where he oversaw advisor relationships and the delivery of technology and investment solutions. Prior to that, he spent more than 20 years at Russell Investments, serving as managing director of private client services. He holds a BS in mathematics and computer science from the University of Puget Sound, an MBA from the University of Washington, and is a CFA® Charterholder.

“The RIA channel is a critical growth driver for AssetMark, and Phill’s leadership and deep expertise will be instrumental as we execute on our strategy,” Kim said.
